On Thursday I finished Course 3 of the cake decorating classes at Michael's.
The course consists of 4 lessons, 1 per week. In the second class we did a square cake learning how to use fondant. In the fourth class we made a tiered wedding cake. I had trouble with the flowers and opted for a less traditional wedding cake. Despite all the stress of getting these cakes done I'm glad I took the course. Next month I'm taking the Fondant and Gum paste class, should be lots of fun!!!

Not too much happening with home life, just the same old thing.
I wish I was getting more scrapbooking done and I've got a million other projects on the go too. There just aren't enough hours in the day. What takes up most of my hours? Well work of course and now for the month of April I'll be adding another 30 mins to my work day. I've been temporarily promoted to Dept Manager as our current one will be working in another store during April. It's exciting as it means more responsibilities and a pay increase, I just wish it was permanent. We'll see what happens as there's a possibility he won't come back but knowing my luck he will, lol The good side is it's a learning experience and another good thing to add on my resume.
So that's all the exciting happenings for now. I can't believe April is just days away, the time is sure flying by. Spring is definately in the air as I've seen the flowers starting to pop up in gardens as I'm riding my bike to work. Now if only the rain would stay away, although it looks promising for next week.

Went to Rae's last night and scrapbooked for POTP's online crop.
We had so much fun and stayed up way too late. Rae made a yummy dinner and we each completed 6 pages.

Jack and I are so excited we got tickets to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
We don't go to concerts very often so this is a treat! June 16th seems so far away.

Happy St.Patrick's Day!
I'm not Irish but it's always fun to dress in green and say Top O the Morning to Ya!

Last week some friends lost a special memeber of their family and since today is St. Patrick's Day I want to remember Shamrock.

I can't believe it's been a week since I last posted.
Where does the time go? Not a whole lot happened just work, work, work
I haven't really done any scrapping which sucks and all it's done is rain so haven't been outside much. All the good shows were repeats this week, except for Survivor and Amazing Race.
Next week will be busy though with some birthdays and parties.
I'll try to update again soon.
