I wasn't going to post about my birthday until after the fact but then I thought why not. It's my day and I can do whatever I want, lol. I don't hide my age (I'm 33 for those who don't know) or pretend I'm not getting older but I also don't expect much just a day for me surrounded by family is good. Presents of course, are always welcome and aren't turned away, hehe.
I don't really have big plans for my birthday. Jack is working today and then we're going for dinner with my parents and then it's back to work for me all weekend. It turned out to be a gorgeous day here so I went for a nice walk and treated myself to a Starbucks Frap. Now I plan to have a little lunch and another tasty beverage that you can see in the photo. Mmmmm mmm good. Jack surprised me with 3 beautiful bunches of tulips, my favourite. I've been enjoying them all day too. My wonderful Sandra left me an awesome message on my answering machine that brought tears to my eyes. Love you SW!!! I got a beautiful card from my other wonderful friend Rae and it was pink!! How did you know it was my favourtie colour? LOL Thanks everyone else for the wonderful wishes and so far I'm having a great 33rd birthday.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Cheers!!!!

I'm posting this a little early as I will be at work all day tomorrow.
I can't believe it's that time again, wow has the week gone fast. My hottie for this week is a soap hunk from One Life to Live (David Fumero). Not sure how many of you out there watch it but maybe you will now, lol.

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Well I've just experienced the most amazing weekend of my life. What a thrill to meet all those wonderful flower girls from pick of the patch. We had a blast and I'll never forget it as long as I live. There's just so much to talk about I don't even know where to start. We had so many laughs and adventures throughout the weekend. The part that amazed me the most was how fast it was over, I definately could have stayed longer. Thanks to everyone involved for their hard work to make it such an enjoyable weekend. I can't wait until we do it all over again.

I've got so much I should be doing but instead here I am blogging away.
I won't have time tomorrow as I'm out the door at 8am and I'll be busy all night when I get home. So this will probably be my last post before the big weekend. I'm going to leave you with someone a little different this week and someone most of you probably don't know. Mark Tremonti, the guitarist for the band Alter Bridge and before that Creed. My song of the day is by Alter Bridge too, check them out you just might like it. If anyone's looking for ideas for birthday presents (wink wink, nudge nudge) Alter Bridge is a good choice. Have a great weekend, I'll be back here Monday with lots of stories to tell I'm sure.
Enjoy!

Look at the helper I had on the weekend.
It was so funny, my mom took a picture.
He was helping me with my tags for the retreat. It's almost time for HDH.... off to decide who it will be!

Jack and I spent Sat night and all day Sunday with my parents at Point Roberts, WA.
We had a great turkey dinner with them and family friends Bert & Elfie. Today Jack and I went for a walk and drive around the point taking lots of pictures. We even saw the Easter bunny! Now it's back to work tomorrow.

It's Wednesday again so you know what that means. It's time for my Hump Day Hottie and this week I choose Tom Cruise! Are you surprised? I thought so! LOL
I know not everyone agrees with me especially of late but I'm a diehard til the end. I'm so looking forward to the new MI movie in May especially because I get to see it in the theater.
Hope everyone has a great Hump Day,
I'll be taking it easy as I'm recovering from the 24hr flu. Yuck!

It's amazing the things that you find in your backyard this year. I went to take some photos of the flowers that have popped up in the backyard. I'm not sure if they were planted this year or are just returning from last but I thought they were so pretty. The first one I took just happened to have a little visitor on it and speaking of visitors I found a mother Robin building a nest in the raftors underneath the porch. I'm hoping I'll get lucky and get some better shots of more than just the nest. Goodbye winter, hello spring!

It's a busy few days so I've gotten a little behind in my updates, I've been tagged a couple times plus I've got some pics to share. I also missed out on Hottie Wednesday and now it's Friday already! I can't believe there's only 2 weeks until the POTP retreat, I'm so excited I can't wait to hang out with all the flower girls. Last night was my graduation for Course 1 of cake decorating. It was so much fun.

As for my Wednesday Hottie it definately has to be Eddie Cibrian.

I don't think I need to say more, just look and enjoy. For those who don't know who he is, he currently starts on TV's Invasion and previously he was on Third Watch and before that he could be on Soap Operas Sunset Beach and Young and the Restless.

Here's my tag:
I wouldn’t sell MY FAMILY for a billion dollars.
The last movie I saw was BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
My best quality is: I DON'T KNOW YOU TELL ME
If I could eat only one type of food for the rest of my life it would be ANYTHING ITALIAN.
When I retire, I will HOPEFULLY BE HAPPILY MARRIED TO JACK WITH 1 OR 2 KIDS
It’s Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. and if I’m not sleeping, I’m PROBABLY AT WORK
If you could have a dinner party for anyone, dead or alive, who’d be coming?
DEFINATELY ALL THE LOVED ONES WHO LEFT ME TOO EARLY AND MAYBE JOHN RITTER, I WAS SO SHOCKED BY HIS DEATH. I MISS HIS COMEDY.
How will I die? You will die at the age of 67. You will be killed by assasins when they mistake you for someone famous.

Here's the second tag:
10 things I couldn't possibly live without:
1. Jack
2. My family
3. My friends
4. My computer
5. Chocolate
6. Popcorn
7. Movies
8. Shoes
9. Iced Tea
10. Music

I think everyone's probably been tagged but you haven't done these tags I tag you!

Happy Friday everyone, enjoy the weekend!

We sure had a great night at Sandra's didn't we girls? Struggling with that wine bottle was so funny and S1&S2 arguing over who was more frugal with cardstock! I enjoyed helping S1 with the work while everyone else supervised. Of course S2 was crazy as always just look at her with the trimmer. Thanks for a great night girls, hope we can do it more often.
