Although I've known about it for almost a week now, I'm finally getting around to posting about it. Last Saturday I was given a full-time position at Michael's, which includes benefits and a raise! I'm so excited to have my feet planted firmly in a job that I love and it's all happened so fast. Although it's not a high paying job, I'm enjoying it immensely. I love going to work and can't wait to see what the future brings.

Well thanks to Rachel, I've found a new yummy treat.
She told us in her blog all about her love for Key Lime Sherbet and I thought it sounded good too. So while Jack and I were at Superstore today I just couldn't resist. Well she's right, it is delicous and it's not as bad for you as regular ice cream. I tried to find a picture of it to add here but no such luck. It isn't too hard to find in the freezer section though.
I definately recommend it. Thanks Rachel for the heads up.

Well the new year has arrived, the time when we all make resolutions. Whether we stick to them or not is a whole different topic. This year I think I'll just try and live life one day at a time. I'm pretty content with the way things are for now. Sure I'd like to make more money, buy a house and car but I could be in a worse situation and I'm thankful for what I have. My job is enjoyable, I have Jack to love and support me and I am able to spend time with family and friends on a daily basis. So my resolution is not too sweat the small stuff, be grateful for what I've got and not worry about what I don't have. I hope everyone has a fantastic 2006.
