Like I didn't know it was coming. Today I have lots going on Renee but that's ok why not add one more, hehe.

I've been taking the Wilton Cake Decoating Class at work and I'm having so much fun with it.
As promised here are some photos of my first attempts at decorating. We start with cupcakes and then work up to a cake for the final class. The only down side is that everyone is going to expect my fancy cakes for their birthday, lol. Do they look good enough to eat?

Well here it is almost midnight and I'm finally updating my blog. I can't believe where the time goes. I just posted about how uninteresting my life is yet I still find there is not enough hours in the day. Go figure? Anyway you may have noticed a little different look to my blog and it's all thanks to Anna with a little help from Renee. Anna design the tittle bar at the top of my page, don't you just love it? I sure do, thanks again Anna! Also thanks to Renee for the help with getting it where it is. I don't think I would have ever figured out where to place the codes without her help. My life is so uninteresting that I don't even know what to post in my blog anymore.
I couldn't even come up with a title. All I seem to do is get up, go to work, make dinner, do laundry, go to bed. Not always in that order but it's just the same old thing all the time. I did have a good lunch today with a Trish from work and a nice visit with my friend Rae (thanks for the tea). Also looking forward to my cake decorating class tonight which changes my routine up a little. However it's back to work again tomorrow morning. It will be nice to have this weekend off and hopefully get out and about for a change.

Well it's almost the first day of spring and the weather here has been perfect. Unfortunately I haven't got to enjoy it much as I worked all weekend. However I did get some beautiful tulips which always make me feel "Springy". I'm ready for Winter to be over.

The weather here the last few days has been mostly gorgeous with the exception of the weird snowfall we got the other day. Yesterday Jack and I took advantage of the sunshine. We went for a drive out by Pitt Lake and Grant Narrows Park. The wind was cool but still enjoyable weather. It's back to work today and then rain comes tomorrow. Have a great week everyone!

I was so nervous all day yesterday worrying about teaching my first class at Michael's.After all was said and done I think it went quite well. I had 4 students in my class and they all said it was good and that they learned things from me. It was an introduction to scrapbooking class, how to use a trimmer etc... One of my students was a co-worker and she told me that she understood my directions and could follow along. Which were 2 of the biggest concerns I had.I think the next one will be even better and can't wait to plan more classes for the future.On a side note, my song of the day doesn't reflect at all how I'm feeling, just love the song.I hope everyone has a great Thursday as we get closer to the weekend. Yay!

Best Picture: Crash
Best Actor: Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Capote)
Best Actress: Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line)
Best Director: Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain)
Best Supporting Actor: George Clooney (Syriana)
Best Supporting Actress: Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener)
Overall I enjoyed the show and I thought Jon Stewart did a good job but I missed Billy Crystal. The dresses were pretty good with the exception of a couple. I didn't really like Michelle Williams' yellow number but I loved what Reese wore. I thought she had the best acceptance speech, it was very well said. I was glad she won but was hoping for Charlize. I was also glad George Clooney won for Syriana although I have yet to watch it. I wasn't surprised that Crash won but was expecting more from Brokeback Mountain.

Well the weekend is here and guess who has to work, ME! It's tough working weekends but it comes with the territory and I'm used to it. I just have to think ahead to the following week, when I'm off.
Last night was the night we said goodbye to Brenna. I'm not surprised she got the lowest number of votes because she was awful. At the same time though a part of me was hoping she would make it another week. I think she has potential, oh well. C'est la vie. I am glad Chris made it though, I think he was the best performer this week. He can rock. I'm looking forward to next week and the what he'll do.
I watched 2 movies yesterday and today. The first one was Walk the Line. Good movie, but didn't think it was Oscar worthy. I def. recommend it though if you like those types of stories. I learned things about Johnny Cash that I didn't know, I was a little disappointed with the ending though. The other one I watched was North Country. I thought it was really good and Charlize Theron is excellent. She's definately worthy of Oscar this year. I sure hope she wins. I highly recommend North Country to those who haven't seen it.
I always enjoy Oscar night but this year I've hardly seen any of the movies involved in nominations. The 2 I mentioned above are the only ones. I was hoping to see Brokeback Mountain before Sunday but it's not going to happen now. I think it will win but then again you never know. I do plan on watching after work if for nothing else but to see what everyone is wearing. I love that part.

Well can you believe it March is here already. I just can't believe how fast time is flying. It seems like Christmas was just yesterday and now it's almost Spring.
Some days I want the time to go fast and others I want it to slow down. Anyone else feel like this? Happy March 1st everyone.
Oh yeah, did anyone catch Idol last night? My god Brenna is awful, I think this will be her week to go.
