This past weekend Jack and I bought our first BBQ together. I love this time of year and the smell of the BBQ and how good the food tastes. We were excited to try it out on Mother's Day and we had the most delicious steak. Of course it's Jack's new favourite toy and we had to use it again last night to cook up some bratwurst. MMM good. I love BBQ season. I also made my first cake this weekend, it's not actually my first ever cake but it was my first of that kind. I used a ladybug shape pan and the skills I learned in the Wilton Cake Decorating class at Michael's to decorate it. I think it turned out pretty good for my first one and it was a hit with all that ate it, including my co-workers who got the leftovers. I guess my next one will have to be for Father's Day, lol.
